Polar Plunge A Success

The Freezin For A Reason Polar Plunge yesterday at Appalachian Power Park was a success!  A report from WOWK-TV placed participation at 150 with the goal being to raise over $15,000 for West Virginia Special Olympics.

Freezin For a Reason

A number of Charleston-area lawyers displayed their individualized belly-flop, canon-ball and other safe landing techniques! In this photo, Charleston attorney Harvey Peyton gives an interview to a local reporter after his jump. Harvey had issued a challenge on his WCHS radio program, Ask the Lawyer, for lawyers and others to donate to this worthy cause in exchange for his taking a polar plunge.  If you missed this event, but would still like to make a donation, you can go to the WV Special Olympics website to get more information about contributing, volunteering or attending upcoming events.
